Sazerac Cocktail


2 oz Rye Whiskey
2 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
1 dash Angostura Bitters
1 barspoon Simple Syrup

1 barspoon Absinthe (for rinsing the glass)

1 Lemon Peel


Add the rye, bitters and simple syrup to a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir until chilled. Rinse an old fashioned glass with the absinthe, pouring out the excess. Strain the cocktail into the old fashioned glass and garnish with a lemon peel.
